Last month, SpotboyE.com had brought to you the exclusive
dope that not Sridevi but TV actress Shalini Kapoor will play Janhvi
Kapoor’s mother in Dharma Productions’ Dhadak.
Talking about landing a role in the plum project, Shalini
says, “Being part of a YRF film is a dream comeback. Sridevi was my role model
growing up and I didn't know one day I will be related to her in this manner.
God is super kind and working with her daughter is another blessing.”
Shalini Kapoor who has acted in several shows such as
Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Qabool Hai, Swaragini, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Saat
Phere among others is also shooting for Prithvi Vallabh (Sony TV).
"I'm enjoying the most beautiful time. As an actress
acting for both mediums at the same time is a dream come true. I'm juggling
between the shoots of both, but it gives me immense pleasure."
Shalini added, "With my
professional commitments I have personal responsibilities too. My daughter
is young and needs proper care and help with studies. I'm thankful to Rohit
(Husband Rohit Sagar) who is living up to his promises and helping me."
