Since the time Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s
film, Dhadak’s poster is out, the news of Sridevi playing Janhvi’s mother in
the movie is doing the rounds.
BUT there is absolutely no truth to this. SpotboyE.com
has found out who is actually playing Janhvi’s mother in the film and NO it’s
not Sridevi.
The lady who has grabbed the role is TV’s famous
actress, Shalini Kapoor, who is known for her roles like Dilshad Rashid
Ahmed Khan from Zee TV's Qubool Hain and Annapurna Durga Prasad from Colors'
Swaragini.
Shalini is considered as the youngest and prettiest looking on-screen mother in the Television industry. And now, she is set for her foray in Bollywood.
Currently the actress is working in Sony's upcoming show
Prithvi Vallabh starring Sonarika Bhadouria and Ashish Sharma in lead. She is
playing mother to Ashish (Prithvi Vallabh) and her character is that of a
queen. 
Ishaan Khatter And Jhanvi Kapoor In Dhadak
Talking about Dhadak, the cast and crew completed
its first schedule in Rajasthan, a few weeks back and are now headed
to Kolkata for its 2nd schedule.
For the 1st schedule,
mommy Sridevi had accompanied Janhvi to the sets to give her all the
moral support. Ishaan’s mother, Neelima Azeem was also present at the shoot.
Dhadak is a Hindi remake of famous Marathi film,
Sairat and marks the debut of Janhvi Kapoor. The film is being directed by
Shashank Khaitan, who has earlier delivered hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania
and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
