Box-Office? Well, remake an old hit film OR adapt a popular book on cinema.
Filmmakers have realized that nothing works like nostalgia, when
it comes to movies.
The latest addition in this genre is the 1986
superhit romantic comedy 'Chameli Ki Shaadi'. Phantom films will be
collaborating with director Rohit Jugraj for the remake. And the most exciting
part comes now, the names that the makers have in mind to play the lead role
are Parineeti Chopra and hold your breath, Diljit Dosanjh.
According to an industry
source the makers are keen to sign the svelte and sexy, Parineeti Chopra for
the title role as Chameli played by Amrita Singh in Basu Chatterjee's film.
While for Anil Kapoor's role the makers have decided to cast the famous actor
from Punjab, Diljit Dosanjh who made his Bollywood debut with the most talked
about film Udta Punjab.
