The trailer of Neeraj Pandey’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is out and
it is truly inspiring. In just 3.18 minutes, the makers have succeeded in
giving the audience a glimpse of the real Mahendra Singh Dhoni -- a simple
small-town boy with big dreams. In short, it’ll leave you clean-bowled.
Sushant
Singh Rajput, who plays the title role, unveiled the trailer along with his
team. Surprisingly he did not duck any questions -- even those related to his
recent split with long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. When asked about
heartbreak, he said, “Yes, I was broken-hearted, but it did not let it affect
my mindset.” When reminded that he had earlier (before break-up) promised to
tie the knot this year, Sushant said, “Pehle ladki toh dhoondu”.
What about
the link-up with his Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon? The Kai Po Che actor said he
fully supported Kriti’s response to the rumours about their ‘affair’. In June,
Kriti had taken to Twitter to say, "Had enough. As much as we like and
respect each other, there is absolutely no truth to these baseless manufactured
stories. Thanks."
Coming back
to the trailer launch, the ‘real’ Dhoni left the venue without any media
interaction, much to the chagrin of the journalists. Apart from Sushant, the
film also stars Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani
among others.
