The couple posted a series of romantic pictures, with Armaan holding Payal close as they posed for the camera. The caption featured red heart emojis, symbolizing their affection. However, the response from netizens was swift and critical. Many rushed to the comments section to express their disapproval and confusion over Payal’s apparent change of heart regarding her divorce plans. Questions like “Aab kya hua?” (“What happened now?”) and “Aab divorce kahan gaya?” (“Where did the divorce go?”) flooded the comments. For context, Armaan Malik had entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house in June with both his wives, Payal and Kritika. Payal was the first to be eliminated from the show, while Armaan exited during the finale week. Kritika, however, made it to the finalists. Throughout their participation, the trio faced significant backlash for allegedly promoting polygamy.

Following her eviction, Payal publicly expressed her desire to divorce Armaan, citing the immense hate and negative attention affecting her children as the primary reasons. In one of her vlogs, she stated, “I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay but now the hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids.”
