WHAT! Dwayne Johnson To Be New Owner Of WWE? Veteran Wrestler Likely To Purchase Company From Vince McMahon For Over $6.5 Billion-REPORTS
Dwayne Johnson’s connection with WWE goes long back and fans were quite discontent following his departure from the world of wrestling. Primarily known as The Rock, Johnson shifted his focus towards acting, but from the looks of it he does not want to serve his ties with the WWE. Now, amid the rumours of bankruptcy, Vince McMahon is back as the chairman and fans eagerly want Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock to take charge of the entertainment company. However, the Black Adam actor had a rather cryptic response to the fans' demands.

The recent update comes as speculations are rife that WWE will be sold to someone from Saudi Arabia, but none of it is true. While Vince McMahon has returned as the chairman, it appears the company’s sale is back on and only time will tell if The Rock is ready to take over the ownership of WWE.

Responding to the fans demands, Dwayne Johnson in an interview with CNBC said, “I used to have this mentality… that, ‘Well, my plate is full. However, I’m going to make room for [more]’ — and I would find a way to do that.”

Earlier, The Rock had also addressed the rumours of WWE being sold and how the company has been going through a hard time. Reflecting on the company’s current situation, the veteran wrestler said, “The fan base is very large and very passionate, and there’s nothing like the WWE. So, I think with the new owners, if there are new owners and acquirers that are gonna come in, I think they have to share that same passion for the company and for the world of pro wrestling, which isn’t always easy to do.”

Dwayne’s latest comments have once again sparked speculations that The Rock is in the running to take the wrestling giant company, WWE.

Speaking of Dwayne Johnson’s connection to WWE, The Rock shot to fame as a professional wrestler and later shifted to the field of acting. The actor’s name has often cropped up as one of the strong contenders who are ready to be WWE’s saviour. He was once a celebrated wrestler who is now a veteran and even though he might have taken his leave from WWE, fans still enjoy watching his old clips.
