Star Indian batter Virat Kohli continues to make headlines for all the right reasons. While he is often praised for his contribution to the Indian cricket team, the skipper is now being applauded for another unusual piece of news which arrived today and it is just magnificent!

Any guess?

Drumrolls!

Yes, you guessed it right! This announcement is regarding his high income from Instagram.

According to the recently released data from Hopperhq, Kohli is among the top 15 highest-paid celebrities in the world on Instagram. The cricketer ranks 14th on the list. Kohli reportedly charges $10,88,000 for every Instagram post.

Virat Kohli now stands amongst the list of footballers Cristiano Ronaldo who charges $ 23,97,000 per post followed by Kylie Jenner, Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who are also in the top 5.

The brand ‘Kohli’ is quite a name on social media and he is leading the likes of footballer star Neymar, Kary Perry, Miley Cyrus and LeBron James. To note, he is also among the top 4 sports stars on Instagram, in terms of followers. He is only behind star footballers Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.

Nevertheless, at times Kohli hasn’t been at the top of his form and despite a slump in his career, the actor continues to make news even when he gets out of form.

As per the Zee News report, The Asia Cup 2022 was his 71st and it was in 3 years and more of waiting. The Covid-19 outbreak, different breaks due to consistent cricket, and bad form was the reason he missed out on several tons in these 3 years.
