Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput left a huge impact on the audience with his versatile performances. His untimely demise on June 14, 2020 left the nation in shock and heartbroken. Four years after he was found hanging in his apartment, his death is still being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The lack of closure report has certainly raised a lot of eyebrows. Now, Rajput’s close friend, actor Mahesh Shetty and sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to their official social media handles to grieve his untimely demise and demand justice.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Shetty wrote, “How much longer I wonder? Another year passes by… They said it gets easier and time heals it all but the questions keep pestering, making it even more difficult… I keep waiting, keep my utmost faith alive in the law of the land but I deserve to know… We deserve to know! #JusticeforSushant.” ALSO READ: DID YOU KNOW? On the other hand, Shweta penned a long heartbreaking note. Sharing an unseen video of SSR spending some quality time with his sisters and a photo of a function hosted for him, she expressed how she feels helpless as his death still remains a mystery. She added, “ I feel helpless and have pleaded with the authorities countless times for the truth. I’m losing my patience and feel like giving up. But today, for one last time, I want to ask everyone who can help with the case to put your hand on your heart and ask yourself: don’t we deserve to know what happened to our brother Sushant? Why has it become a political agenda? The Sonchiriya actor’s sister pleaded for the closure that they deserve. She ever urged his fans together in Mumbai and demand justice on the occasion of his death anniversary.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment, in June 2020. His then girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty came under the scanner as she and her her brother, were accused of abetting his suicide. SSR’s case is being probed by CBI but no closure report has been filed yet. Having made a name for himself in Bollywood with his debut movie Kai Po Che!, he became a household name as he starred in the television serial Pavitra Rishta opposite Ankita Lokhande.
