Sunil Chhetri REVEALS He Tested Positive For COVID-19: Says He Feels Fine And Will Be Back On A Football Pitch Soon
Another Indian celebrity to join the list of COVID-19 victims is Indian Football team player, Sunil Chhetri. Chhetri released a statement a while back.
Bengaluru FC Skipper and Indian football team player and former captain of the national team, Sunil Chhetri recently took to her Twitter page and revealed that he has tested positive for COVID 19. Sunil added that he is recovering and should be back on a football pitch soon. He wrote, "In a not-so-happy-update, I've tested positive for COVID-19. In better news, I feel fine as I continue my recovery from the virus and should be back on a football pitch soon. No better time to keep reminding everyone to continue taking all the safety precautions always.
Fans and followers are wishing him a speedy recovery. One fan wrote, "Get well soon champ." Another user wrote, "You should definitely recover soon...Captain!!". Other users dropped comments saying, "Get well soon caption", "Get well soon Tiger" and more.

Sunil Chhetri is a part of the preliminary squad announced by national team head coach Igor Stimac for a couple of friendlies at the end of this month. For the uninitiated, India is set to play Oman on 25th March and UAE on 29th March in Dubai.
