Well, a similar indecent occurred as the fun at an amusement park in Mohali, Punjab turned into a terror-filled evening, as a ‘Spinning Swing’ crashed abruptly at Dushera Grounds of Phase-8 on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Unfortunately, over 16 people were reportedly injured, including children who have been rushed to the hospital.

Soon after learning about the incident, police and PCR rushed the injured to the Phase-6 civil hospital. Five persons have been admitted to a Phase-9 private hospital. The bouncers and the management staff fled the spot with onlookers giving them a chase.
A TribuneIndia report quoted DSP City-2 HS Bal who informed that Jaipur-based Mukesh Sharma owned the joyride. The management has been called to record the statement after which action would be taken.
The 80-ft high spinning wheel tilted slightly and fell with full force. Talking about the same Mohali DC Amit Talwar said, "The injured have been rushed to the Civil hospital. We are investigating the matter and action will be taken soon."
Eyewitnesses said that more than 15 persons were enjoying the joyride and they also complained that adequate safety measures were not in place.
The victims have complained of neck, abdominal and back injuries. No open injury has been reported to any. The radiologists and orthopaedics are examining the patients, reported TribuneIndia.
Meanwhile, the enraged visitors vented out their irks against the joyride operator and fair management. The report also suggests that the weekend rush at the venue, including women, children and youngsters attended the fair in large numbers.
