Bigg Boss fame Manu Punjabi was reportedly threatened by the killers of the late singer Sidhu Moosewala. The singer’s killing sent tremors across the nation, leaving several Indian artists shocked and heartbroken.

However, the nasty murder saga apparently seems to continue as yet another artist is being targeted. 

In his new tweet on Wednesday, June 29, The Bigg Boss 10 and Bigg Boss 14 contestant posted the screenshot of the threat email he received and even thanked the Jaipur police for giving him security and catching hold of the culprit who sent him a threat email. The arrested killer who even demanded Rs 10 lakh, failing which he would be killed. 


Manu tweeted, "I feel blessed and thankful to @Tomarhricha, Add SP RamSingh ji, Comm Anand Shrivtastav ji @jaipur_police to provide me security & find out the culprit. I got email claiming to be from gang of #SidhuMooseWala murderers demanding 10 Lakh or else they would kill me. Last week was stressful."

The screenshot of the threat mail even mentioned Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name and picture on the letterhead. It also had the term ‘Lawrence Bishnoi Team’ added at the top. 

Previously, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had reportedly admitted that he was the mastermind in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's killing and was planning it since last August, Punjab Police ADGP Pramod Ban said on Thursday, June 23, as reported by Times Of India.

Speaking of Punjabi artist Manu Punjabi, the singer debuted in the Punjabi industry with a music video 'Damaad' sung by singer Miss Pooja. In an earlier interview, he told IANS that he was keen to work in the regional industry and make his mark.

He said, "I definitely would love to continue to be a part of the Punjabi entertainment industry. In fact, I have got more offers already, including one from another leading Punjabi singer after my debut song, 'Damaad' got hit."

He added, "When this industry is calling me with open arms, why should I have an issue working here. After all, this is what we artists are here for - to act."
