Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case: Mumbai Police File 1000-Page Chargesheet Against The Accused, Finger Print Report Found!
In the high-profile Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, the Bandra Police have filed a chargesheet running over 1,000 pages against accused Shariful Islam. A Bangladeshi national, Islam allegedly entered the actor’s Bandra home on January 16 intending to commit theft, which escalated into a violent confrontation.

According to the chargesheet, “Islam stabbed the actor multiple times, causing injuries to his thoracic spine.” Khan was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery and was discharged five days later.

The police launched a massive manhunt, analyzing CCTV footage and digital footprints. A breakthrough came when “the accused made a UPI payment via Google Pay to purchase a paratha and a bottle of water.” This small yet significant clue helped police trace him to a labour camp in Thane, leading to his arrest.

During the investigation, police recovered the weapon used in the attack, Islam’s blood-stained clothes, his mobile phone, and a fake Aadhaar card bearing the name “Vijay Das.” An officer noted, “The Aadhaar card helped him stay in India illegally for a long time.”

The Bandra Police are also probing whether Islam had any accomplices and the origin of the knife. A senior officer said, “We are not ruling out the possibility of assistance from others. Further investigation is underway.”

Shariful Islam’s custody was extended several times by the Bandra Magistrate Court to allow detailed investigation. Police emphasized that the chargesheet includes technical evidence, eyewitness accounts, and forensic findings.

This comprehensive document reflects the thorough efforts of Mumbai Police and aims to secure a strong case in court. As the trial phase begins, all eyes remain on how the case unfolds and whether justice will be delivered in this chilling attack on one of Bollywood’s prominent actors.
