Rishab Shetty Starrer Kantara To RELEASE On OTT In November? Makers React To Speculation – Report

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has become a sensational hit ever since its release on September 30. After the success of the movie in Karanataka, the makers released dubbed versions of the movie. The languages included Hindi, Tamil, Malyalam, and Telugu. According to previous reports, the makers of the movie are gearing up to release the movie on OTT platforms on November 4.

Given the hype around the movie and the fans urging the makers to release Kantara on OTT so that they can watch it again, it was no surprise when the rumours about the movie’s OTT release started doing the rounds. The makers of the film have given out an official statement regarding all the speculation. They took to social media to share that all the rumours are false and they will not be releasing Kantara on OTT on November 4. They said that an official date would be announced when they are ready. The movie has received immense acclaim from the critics as well as actors like Rajnikanth, Dhanush, Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, and Kangana Ranaut. They congratulated the team for making an extraordinary film and called it a masterpiece in Indian cinema.

The action thriller is written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who is also the lead of the film. The movie revolves around Kambla and Bhootha Kola, a traditional dance performed for the deity. Kantara also stars , Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty in pivotal roles. Recently, the writer-director of the movie hinted at a sequel and shared that he will start working on the script after taking a short break.
