Rihanna's partner A$AP Rocky has landed in a soup as he was reportedly sued by his fellow rapper and A$AP member Relli. The American rapper and his counsel Joe Tacopina have been sued for defamation by Relli, revealed the attorney while conducting a press campaign on his client’s behalf following a November 2021 shooting, reported by TMZ.

The A$AP member, Relli has also claimed that Rocky had reportedly shot him after an altercation in Hollywood, and when Tacopina approached the press to deny any malpractice by his client, Rocky claimed that the lawyer defended him. Apart from that, Relli has accused Tacopina of defaming him by painting him as a liar, a money grabber, and an extortionist. 

In his lawsuit, Relli has maintained that he received death threats as a result of Tacopina's statements, along with online harassment. Moreover, the death threats and harassment led him to take therapy, and the ordeal has affected his sleep schedule and his overall mental health.

On the professional front, A$AP Rocky, who is legally named Rakim Athelaston Mayers, is an American rapper who embarked on his musical career as a member of the hip-hop collective ASAP Mob, from which he adopted his moniker. The rapper debuted with the studio album Long.Live.A$AP in 2013 was number one on Billboard 200 and was also later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
