Telugu cinema star Ravi Teja recently faced an unfortunate incident while filming his upcoming project, RT75. The actor sustained a muscle tear in his right arm during the shoot, which he initially tried to push through. However, as he continued to work, the injury worsened, necessitating surgical intervention. On August 24, Ravi Teja took to his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to update his fans on his health status. He expressed relief and gratitude, stating, "Successfully discharged after a smooth surgery and feeling fine. Grateful for all your warm blessings and support. Excited to be back on set soon." This message reassured his followers that he was on the mend and looking forward to returning to work.

A representative for the actor provided further details about the situation, confirming that Ravi Teja had indeed suffered a muscle tear while shooting RT75. The statement noted, "Mass Maharaja #Raviteja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation. Yesterday, he underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery."


RT75 is particularly significant for Ravi Teja as it marks his 75th film in the industry. The cast includes actress Sreeleela in the lead role, and the film is set to be directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu. Reports indicate that the release is scheduled for Sankranti 2025. On the professional front, Ravi Teja was last seen in Mr. Bachchan, which hit theaters on August 15. This film features Bhagyashri Borse and Jagapathi Babu in key roles and is an official Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster Raid, originally starring Ajay Devgn.
