Rapper Umesh Khade In Legal Trouble, Case Registered Against Him In Mumbai For Anti-Government Song Targeting Administrative System-Reports
As per the latest reports, rapper Umesh Khade has landed in a big trouble over the release of his song titled ‘Bhongli keli janata’ which alleged refers to suffering faced by common people. A case has been registered against Umesh in Mumbai as Maharashtra Police alleged that the song is against government and the administrative system. Further details are awaited on the same. The complaint was filed by an official of the Mumbai Police's Crime Intelligence Unit who alleged that the new song is targeting the government.

As per reports, the official said that an FIR was registered against Umesh based on the complaint. The rapper, who lives in Wadala area of Mumbai, uploaded the song on a social media platform with the account name Shambho, and no time the song went viral on the internet. The case has been registered against Khade under Sections 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace), 505(2) (statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes) of the Indian Penal Code, and Section 67 (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.



Last week, Umesh Khade was summoned by the police for questioning and was later allowed to go. A notice was served to him that stated he has to appear before the investigating officer whenever required. It is being said that the rapper was not arrested. However, Nationalist Congress Party leader Jitendra Awhad came out in the support of Khade saying he did not find anything offensive in the song.
