Rapper and social media personality Nicki Minaj surprised the audience as she took the MTV VMAs stage in a pink wedding dress. However, things did not end well for the rapper as she suffered a major wardrobe malfunction and her fans were left aghast with the shocking incident.
Nicki’s gown came with a few seductive features making it rather bold and sexy. The bubble-gum pink bold outfit was presumably a nod to her 'Barbie' nickname, reported 'Mirror.co.uk'.
The Hip-Hop star looked much more sensational as she styled the lacy, pink lingerie-style frock, which featured a silk corset-style bodice, showing off her incredible curves. The flowing skirt was completely sheer and nipped Nicki in at the waist before jutting out just above her knees in a fishtail style.
Interestingly, Nicki’s pink knickers were on full display in the netted skirt and she paired the look with a long veil, which had a pretty pink applique around the hem.
The Mirror.co.uk report also suggested that the rapper went all out with the make-up, framing her striking peepers with heavy kohl eyeliner and adding a slick of Barbie-pink gloss to her plump pout.
However, Nicki revealed that it didn't get swimmingly for her in outfit stakes as she shared she'd suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Speaking to the camera, she said: "I just realised that one of my motherf*****g shoes wasn't buckled properly," before the camera zoomed in on her feet.
Nicki also revealed that MTV had been concerned about what she may say on the stage when she took to her hosting duties. However, she shared that she attempted to alleviate their fears.
Incidentally, it’s the second year in a row that Nicki has taken to the hosting helm of the awards bash.
