Ranu Mondal On Daughter Elizabeth Ray’s Accusations Against Her Managers, “Maybe Someone Is Provoking Her”
Ranu Mondal has refuted all the accusations made by daughter Elizabeth Ray against her managers of the Ranaghat Club
On Wednesday, we had reported how Internet sensation Ranu Mondal’s daughter Elizabeth Sathi Ray claimed that members of Ranaghat’s Amra Shobai Shoitaan club, who are handling Ranu Mondal, are not allowing her to get in touch with her mother. Moreover, she also accused them of threatening her. "It feels like as if Atindra Chakraborty and Tapan Das (club members) are my mother's own sons. They and other members of the club have threatened to break my leg and throw me out if I try to get in touch with my mother. They don't let me talk to ma even over the phone. Also, they are brainwashing ma against me,” said Elizabeth.
Now, Ranu Mondal, in a conversation with Times Now, has opened up on Elizabeth’s accusations. The viral singer has labeled it as a misunderstanding and stated that the Ranaghat members are taking good care of her “I think there’s some misunderstanding or maybe someone is provoking (Sathi) to say all these things. Atindra (the man who shared Ranu’s video on social media) and Tapan (Das; a club member) are taking good care of me. I’m unaware of them threatening Sathi,” said Ranu.
Upon being asked about the extortion fees taken by Atindra and Tapan, as claimed by Elizabeth, Ranu added, “Yes, they had taken Rs 10,000 but then that was used in buying household stuff, clothes, cooking gas and travel fares. It’s very important to trust people and I do that.”
Meanwhile, Ranu Mondal, who shot to fame with a viral video of singing on a railway station, has already recorded three songs with Himesh Reshammiya. Reportedly, she has also been roped in by Salman Khan to croon a song in his upcoming film, Dabangg 3.
