Rajinikanth will finally end his dry spell in theatres with a full action-packed entertainer, ‘Jailer’, after two years. The excitement is at an all-time high and fans cannot stop planning their weekend ahead of the release day. As the Jailer fever takes over the nation, offices in Chennai and Bengaluru have announced leave for their employees adding to the hype around the film. 

To top it off, the companies have also handed free tickets to their employees, reported The Economic Times. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer is set to hit theatres on August 10.

The film is gearing up for a grand release in the theatres worldwide on Thursday. With Jailer’s release day nearing closer, expectations and excitement among fans is visible, and many have taken to social media to run countdowns for Jailer's release.  


Amid expectations of a strong box office debut, a company's holiday announcement on 'account of the release of superstar Rajnikanth's movie Jailer' is going viral, reported Hindustan Times.

In its notice, the company has declared a holiday on August 10 'to avoid piled up leave requests to the HR department'. The notice further said, “We also take the privilege of going the extra mile to support antipiracy by providing free tickets to employees...”

Jailer marks his first collaboration with  Nelson Dilipkumar and he returns to the big screen after a two-year break. The film features him in the role of a retired police officer.


Earlier this month, the makers of Jailer treated fans with the official trailer for Rajinikanth's mega-blockbuster, titled Jailer Showcase. The trailer also gave a glimpse of Jackie Shroff as he threatens Rajinikanth over a phone call. 

Jailer also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan.
