RAIN OF WORMS IN CHINA?! Beijing Flooded With Creatures From Sky; Residents Of Liaoning Advised To Carry Umbrellas On Streets
China has transpired to become the ‘land of bizarre’ as a strange video featuring what appears to be cars covered in worms has gone viral and many people believed that the creatures are falling from the sky. Footage of the same has gone viral on the sets and is believed to have been shot in Beijing China, focusing on a number of parked cars covered in worm-like objects.

The video was shared on social media with the words ‘rain of worms’, convincing many that worms had fallen from the sky. Some suggested it was a sign the world was coming to an end.

One comment read: “I’m not a religious person, but this is some first testament s*** happening in China right now.”

Well, that’s not all, many others have put forward alternate explanations and one theory speculates that they are indeed worms, but ones that have been swept up in a mirror tornado and later deposited. Another possibility that is being speculated is that they are worms that have come to the surface because spring has arrived and the ground is thawing.

According to some cultures and mythological references, the first full moon that appears in March is sometimes also known as the full worm moon because of this phenomenon.

A few social media users have said that the cars aren’t covered in worms, but they are all stringy objects that are instead seeds from poplar trees.

Netizens have certainly gone wild with their speculations and an El Heraldo report suggests that the residents in Beijing have been advised to bring their umbrellas with them if going outside that day. Though we assume this was in case of rain, not falling worms.

Meanwhile, Chinese authorities are yet to give an explanation as to what exactly happened.

This isn’t the first time China has witnessed such a bizarre incident. In 2022, security video footage captured the moment hundreds of birds died en masse seemingly without explanation.
