Priyanka Chopra Gets Trolled For Roasting hubby Nick Jonas, Asks “What successful acting career?”

Global icon Priyanka Chopra needs no introduction. The actress has carved a niche for herself across the world but is often a victim of trolls – much like most celebrities.

Now, amid the rumors of her divorce with hubby Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra recently took part in a roast which was telecast on Netflix titled The Jonas Brothers Family Roast. The recently shared video, freautred Nick along with his siblings and their wives and PeeCee was also a part of it.

During her segment, she roasted her husband Nick with jokes about their acting careers but some did not take it well. She also joked how she has more followers than all of them combined.

The clip also saw her joking about being the only couple amongst the Jonas brothers to not have any children yet and then proceeded to surprise her husband by announcing that she was expecting.

Later, she clarified that they weren’t expecting a baby yet but instead to “get drunk and sleep in”.

Shortly after the show went live on OTT platform, netizens took to social media and call out Priyanka Chopra. Some shared that she was “cringe” whereas others wanted her to be roasted instead.

Earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra was trolled for her visit to Paris and posing with the Eiffel Tower.

She was also seen making her appearance with Oprah Winfrey which was again subject to troll.

Oprah began talking about the spiritual energy in India before asking her, “Did you have a spiritual foundation growing up?” Priyanka Chopra replied by saying “I grew up in a convent school. I was aware of Christianity. My dad used to sing in a mosque, I was aware of Islam. I grew up in a Hindu family, I was aware of that.”

Many criticised the actress for her statement, and some even accused her of only saying that to win back her Muslim fans after being accused of Islamaphobia.
