Pavitra Jayaram, who extensively worked in Kannada and Telugu television industries, tragically passed away in a car accident
Kannada and Telugu TV actress Pavitra Jayaram left for her heavenly abode on Sunday. She passed away after getting into a car crash. The actress’ fans have been left devastated due to the shocking news. She gained prominence in the television industry with her versatile performance in the hit Telugu serial ‘Trinayani’. She essayed the role of Thilottama in the show.
If reports are to be believed the accident took place near Mehbooba Nagar in Andhra Pradesh. The late actress and her co-passengers were reportedly returning from Hanakere in the Mandya district of Karnataka. According to India.com, the car lost control and smashed into a divider. After which a bus collided with the right side of the car. Due to the impact, the actress died on the spot, while her family members were badly injured. The report states that Jayaram was traveling with her sister Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor Chandrakant. They were reportedly returning from Hanakere in the Mandya district of Karnataka
Friends, industry acquaintances, and admirers immediately took to social media to express their shock. Many poured in condolences for the grieving family. Actor Sameeip Acharyaa wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”
Fans even took to the comment section of her Instagram posts to mourn her loss. One wrote, “RIP pavitra.” Another wrote, “Kannadigas will keep remembering you..
