Pakistani Singer Ali Sethi has been making the headlines for quite some time now for his melodious voice. Being one of the well-loved artists, he enjoys a huge fanbase on the internet. It was on Friday evening when reports started doing rounds on social media stating that he has tied the knot with rumoured longtime boyfriend Salman Toor. For the unversed, having risen to fame with his song ‘Pasoori Nu,’ he is one of the few Pakistani singers who have come out as gay.

For the unaware, Salman is a painter by profession. In an earlier interview the duo had recalled an experience from their college day during their interview with The New Yorker. Ali has spoken about how he used to protect Salman from bullies. He had said, “I think we were all trying to protect Salman, he was the most vulnerable one, because he didn't have any defense mechanisms. I was the tallest person in the class. I was a teacher-pleaser, but Salman was guileless. When boys made fun of him, he couldn't fight back.”

On the work front, having made his musical debut with the album The Floor Sessions (2013), Ali became a household name after his song Pasoori Nu gained recognition on a global platform.
