Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi Tests Positive For COVID-19, Says ‘I’ve Been Feeling Unwell Since Thursday’
The former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team and one of the renowned cricketers Shahid Afridi has been tested positive for Coronavirus. Ever since the deadly Coronavirus spread all over the globe, Shahid has been doing his bit by distributing food and essential items among the needy and also helping the people in desperate need of help through his foundation called, Shahid Afridi Foundation. Today, the cricketer took to his Twitter handle and shared the news with his fans and followers that he has been tested positive for COVID-19.

In his tweet, he mentioned that he was not feeling well since Thursday and after getting some symptoms, he got it tested and unfortunately, it came positive. Sharing the tweet, he wrote, “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah #COVID19 #pandemic #hopenotout #staysafe #stayhome”. Soon, ‘get well soon’ messages came in order from all quarters.

In fact, quite a few Pakistani cricketers have already wished him a speedy recovery. Amongst many, Wahab Riaz wrote, “Get well soon Shahid Bhai,” Imad Wasim too send him prayers and said, “Prayers are with you Lala Get well soon inshaAllah.” Azhar Ali wrote, “May Allah give you speedy recovery shahid Bhai Ameen..”


Meanwhile, recently the famous personalities who were found positive for Coronavirus are Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Star Mohena Kumari, Diya Hum Aur Bathi Tum actress Deepika Singh’s mother and few more. There were reports that even Arvind Kejriwal has also tested positive for COVID-19, however, the latest reports say that the test results are negative.
