OMG! Elvish Yadav Receives Death Threat During His Cricket Match With Munawar Faruqui In Delhi! Officials Empty Stadium! - WATCH
In a surprising turn of events, Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav received a death threat during a cricket match against comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui. The two were competing in the ECL 2024 tournament at the IG Indoor Stadium in Delhi, with Elvish leading his team, Haryanvi Hunters (HH), and Munawar captaining Mumbai Disruptors (MD). Before the game began, both captains shared light-hearted banter with presenter Shefali Bagga on the field, but the situation quickly escalated when Elvish was threatened for participating in the match against Munawar.

The threat created chaos among the event's officials, leading to an immediate evacuation of the packed stadium as a safety precaution. Authorities sealed the entrances, leaving only the management and officials in attendance for the continuation of the match. Photos and videos surfaced on social media showing Elvish’s fans exiting the venue in large numbers following the evacuation. As of now, neither Elvish nor the event organizers have made an official statement regarding the threat or the incident.

This isn't the first time that Elvish has faced controversy involving Munawar Faruqui. Earlier in the year, during the Indian Street Premiere League (ISPL), the two were seen bonding and hugging each other, an interaction that sparked outrage among some of Elvish's fans. Many labeled him a "traitor" and "anti-Hindu" due to his camaraderie with Munawar. This led to Elvish receiving death threats from outraged fans who felt betrayed by his friendliness toward Munawar. The controversy grew so intense that Elvish eventually issued an apology, expressing that he would prioritize his religion over his friendship with Munawar.

In his apology, Elvish made it clear that his Hindu faith held greater significance to him than any personal relationship. He stated, "For the sake of my Hindu religion, for my Sanatan Dharma, not just one, but I would sacrifice a thousand Munawar Faruquis." By this, he emphasized that Munawar was neither his friend nor brother and that he would distance himself if it meant protecting his religious values. Despite this, the recent threat during the cricket match highlights how the tension between the two and their fan bases has persisted.
