Indian businessman and billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani was a proud mother as she welcomed her youngest daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant into their home and family with open arms during the weekend. Often making the headlines for her ethereal looks and gorgeous traditional attires, she left no stone unturned to put her best fashion foot forward as the groom’s mother. As the celebrations came to an end, she opted for a beautiful traditional outfit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, for the occasion of ‘Shubh Aashirwad’.

The renowned fashion designers took to their official social media handle, to publish Nita’s photos in the baby pink coloured outfit. Always being the one to hounour her culture and roots, she honoured her beautiful family with the custom-made ‘Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla couture’. Explaining the thought behind the ensemble, the designers mentioned in the caption that it honours “family, love and the finest craftsmanship.” The highlight of her heavily embroidered lehenga was her blouse which featured the names of her kids Aaksh, Isha, and Anant, and her grandchildren Prithvi, Veda, Krishna, and Aadiya. Shedding light on the work done on the lehenga, AJSK wrote in the caption, “She exudes maximum grandeur in this hand-embroidered Zardozi ghagra that most marvellously expresses Abu Sandeep’s love for the eternal divinity of temple architecture. The garment features decadent hand-embroidery inspired by the architecture and temples of Kashi. It is paired with a special jewelled blouse featuring hand-embroidered Jhumkaas all over and auspicious elephant motifs at the back. Talking about Anant and Radhika’s nuptials, after a seven-month-long engagement period and three pre-wedding ceremonies, they tied the knot on July 12, 2024, surrounded by friends and family. 

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s first pre-wedding celebration happened in March 2024, where the Ambanis introduced their wildlife center Vantara, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to their guests. This was followed by a cruise outing in May 2024 with the theme ‘La Vita E Un Viaggio’. They kicked off their third pre-wedding ceremony earlier last week with the Mameru ceremony. Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations have become a huge trending topic of discussion on social media and have attracted a lot of scrutiny from the netizens.
