Nagarjuna shared that he opted to cancel his Maldives vacation, expressing his belief that such trips are 'not healthy'. During an interview to promote his recent project, 'Naa Saami Ranga', Nagarjuna and MM Keeravaani also extended praise to the picturesque Bangaram Islands in Lakshadweep. Tollywood superstar recently initially planned a post-release vacation to the Maldives with his family after 'Naa Saami Ranga'. However, amidst the Maldives-Lakshadweep controversy, he changed his plans, cancelling the tickets, and opted to visit the serene Bangaram Islands instead. During a conversation with Indian lyricist Chandrabose and songwriter MM Keeravaani, Nagarjuna revealed that his initial plan was to depart for the Maldives on January 17. However, after an exhaustive 75 days of work on Big Boss and 'Naa Saami Ranga' without a break, he decided to cancel his Maldives trip. Instead, he expressed his intention to visit Lakshadweep the following week. Nagarjuna clarified his decision to cancel the Maldives trip, stating it wasn't due to fear but rather a concern for the overall atmosphere. Brahmastra actor expressed disapproval of the treatment received, emphasizing that for every action, there is a reaction. Commending the scenic charm of Bangaram Islands in Lakshadweep, he playfully suggested MM Keeravani plan a trip. On the work front, 99th film of Nagarjuna, 'Naa Saami Ranga', hit the theatres on January 14 to positive acclaim from both critics and audiences. Directed by choreographer Vijay Binni, the film is recognized as the official Telugu remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie 'Porinju Mariam Jose'.
