This development comes shortly after he returned to Kochi from Gujarat, where he had been busy completing the shooting schedule for his highly anticipated film, L2: Empuraan. The actor, who is 64 years old, was admitted to the hospital due to breathing difficulties and generalized myalgia, which is a form of muscle pain. The hospital authorities released an official statement regarding Mohanlal's health, which was shared by industry insider Sreedhar Pillai. The statement confirmed that Mohanlal had been experiencing a high-grade fever, respiratory challenges, and muscle pain. Doctors suspect that he might have contracted a viral respiratory infection. Given his condition, Mohanlal has been advised to rest for five days and to avoid crowded places to aid his recovery. Reports indicate that his health took a turn for the worse after he returned to Kochi, but he is currently under observation and showing signs of recovery.
