Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's Palat scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge seems to have found its version in Korean Drama Youth Of May
All the Bollywood buffs would be aware of the famous Palat scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's famous scene from DDLJ became a love tester of sorts. Well, it seems, Korean Drama Youth of May found some inspiration and incorporated a similar scene in its fourth episode. Lee Do-Hyun And Go Min-Si sort off recreated Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's Palat scene in the show and fans are overjoyed.
In a scene from Youth of May, Lee Do-Hyun (Hwang Hee-tae) hopes that Go Min-Si ( Kim Myung-hee) would look back as she walks away. Well, just like Kajol, she did Palat! Fans are pretty amused to see this Korean version of Palat scene. A fan wrote, "“The Korean model of ‘PALAT." Another one wrote, "Literally getting ddlj wibes." Another one wrote, "Omg the well-known PALAT , PALAT."
The show features on Korean channel KBS. As reported by Soompi, director of Youth Of May, Song Min-yeob spoke about this scene and described this sequence as “universal stories of love, sadness, and hate among young people at the time. It’s not about a specific incident. It’s about the stories of the people who lived during that time.”
The promo of Episode 5 of Youth Of May is already live and fans are eagerly waiting to know what's coming for Lee Do-Hyun and Go Min-Si. Stay tuned to SpotboyE for more such updates.
