Tollywood actress Lavanya and Raj Tarun parted ways on a bad note. Ever since their ongoing feud has escalated with her making accusations and Tarun’s friend, Sekhar Basha, trying to defending him. They were recently called for a live TV debate to discuss the matter, when things took turn for the worse. It was observed that angered by the friend’s claim, Lavanya took off her sandal and threw it at Basha. A clip of the same from Zee Telugu News is going viral on social media.

In the video, it is seen that as the discussion goes on Lavanya confronts Basha, who has been defending Tarun on all social media platforms, for the past few weeks. She removes her sandal and throws it at him, while he is bust speaking at the anchor. The incident leaves him stunned. As he recovers, he lunges towards Lavanya and threatens to hit her. Netizens have expressed their shock at the happening on national television.

For those who don’t know, Lavanya had alleged that Raj Tarun abandoned her and brokeup with for another actress, Malvi Malhotra. Reported by the Free Press Journal, she also added that she had to face drug possession related legal issues in the past. The report adds that she looked visibly agitated and reacted violently towards Basha after he accused her of encouraging drug use among the youth. It is to be noted that, Tarun’s friend had earlier displayed call recordings and messages to counter Lavanya’s claims. 


The FPJ further reports that Raj Tarun has maintained silence and a low profile amid the ongoing controversy. However, he had once clarified that his relationship with the actress ended because of her drug-related issues. He had also stated that she is currently involved with Mastan Sai, who whom she had legal disputes. He has indicated that he wants to deal with the matter through legal channels with documented evidence. It is yet to be seen if and how more drama from the ongoing controversy unfolds.
