International entrepreneur and Hollywood reality show personality Kim Kardashian landed in Mumbai, India, for the first time to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding with her sister Khloe Kardashian. From her arrival to her departure, she often took to her official social media handle to share glimpses of her visit. Now that she is back home, she has shared a few photos of her beautiful ivory lehenga by Manish Malhotra, however, one of the photos has left the netizens enraged.

In the photos, Kim is seen posing for the cameras as she oozes charm and elegance. She completed the outfit with diamond jewellery. Sharing the photos on Instagram, she captioned the post, “Diamonds and Pearls for the Ambani wedding.” While fans went gaga over her looks, one particular photo caught their attention, which left many enraged. In the photo, the Hollywood star is seen leaning on a Lord Ganesha idol, using it as a prop for her photoshoot. While she proceeded to delete the photo from her post, it has gone viral on various social media platforms, with Indian netizens bashing her for being disrespectful towards Indian culture. A Twitterati wrote, “The Ambani wedding was beautiful all around except for this one thing. Calling Kim Kardashian, someone famous for a sex video, was a major miss. And now she comes back home to the USA and poses like this with an idol of Lord Ganesha. She showed her true lack of class.” The photos also went viral on Reddit, with netizens bashing her left, right, and center. It is to be noted that the 43-year-old social media personality has yet to issue a clarification on the matter.

According to a report by India Today, the Kardashian sisters have documented the entire Ambani wedding for their reality show ‘The Kardashians’, which streams on Hulu. They even brought their entire entourage with them along with their hairstylist Chris Appleton and the filming producers. They captured their arrival, their attendance at the Ambani-Merchant wedding as well as their departure from India. 

The reality show is currently in its fifth season. The sixth season of the show will reportedly feature the highlights from Anant and Radhika’s wedding.
