The 30-year-old singer was found dead after a night of partying with friends in South Korea. Xanadu Entertainment, her agency, confirmed the heartbreaking news of her sudden demise.
In an official statement, Xanadu Entertainment expressed deep sorrow over Bo Ram's unexpected death, conveying their grief to fans who supported her. The agency announced that the singer's funeral arrangements would be made in consultation with her family.
Reports from local police revealed that Bo Ram had been at a private gathering before her passing, where she was socializing and drinking with friends. After excusing herself to the washroom and failing to return, her friends discovered her unconscious and slouched over the sink. Despite their efforts to administer CPR, Bo Ram was pronounced dead upon arrival at Hanyang University Guri Hospital.
Bo Ram rose to fame through her appearance on SuperStar K2 in 2010 and gained further recognition for her performance of the OST Hyehwa Dong from the popular K-drama Reply 1998.
