From singing on railway stations to now lending her voice for Bollywood films, Ranu Mondal’s story of rags to riches has been absolutely inspiring. Though, of late, she has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons. And given that the internet is a cruel place, Ranu Mandol is now among the meme-makers’ hot favourites these days. Only recently, she was criticised for being rude with a fan. Well, that apart, netizens have now discovered something new to mock the singer. 

It all started after a couple of pictures of Ranu Mondal, who was sporting some heavy, overdone makeup, surfaced on social media. The singer was donning a peach-coloured lehenga. It turns out that she was attending a beauty parlour event; however, the amount of foundation that was used on her face, made Ranu look unrecognisable and that gave netizens a reason to troll her left, right and centre. While some of the memes were in the right spirit, a lot of them went a little beyond the boundary.

In the past, a clip of Ranu Mondal throwing tantrums at a female fan that touched her and asked for a selfie had gone viral on social media. The video didn’t go down well with the netizens, who slammed Ranu for being arrogant and wrote how success has gone onto her head. Check out the clip below:
