When on the field, it is a very heated situation. Cricketers are under the pressure to win the game as the entire country's sentiments are attached with the win. In India, cricket is worshipped like crazy, and Indian cricketers hence are under immense fire to stay focused and win the game. Sometimes they lose their calm too when on the field. There have been several incidents when the cricketers have vent out their frustration by hurling abuses and that have got caught on mic. Recently, Virat Kohli had such a situation when India faced a 7-wicket defeat against New Zealand in the second Test.

On the second day of the test match, Virat was reportedly caught giving angry send-offs to New Zealand batsmen including Kane Williamson and he was even caught on camera swearing at the crowd. Later, during the presser, a journalist asked him the question on the same. A journalist asked Virat if he feels that he was setting a right example by losing his cool as the captain of the Indian team, to which, Virat retorted saying, "What do you think".

Post some exchange of words when the journalist said that he needs to set better examples, Virat snapped saying, "You need to find out exactly what happened and come up with better questions. You can't come here with half questions or half details of what happened. And also, if you want to create controversy, this is not the right place. I had spoken to the match referee. He had no issues with what happened. Thank You".
