While the internet is currently busy extending heartfelt messages to Team India, after their loss, a section has been criticising him for making comments on how the actresses might not know much about the sport.

It all happened, during his commentary on the match when the actresses were seen deep in discussion. Talking about team India’s loss in yesterday’s match, the players were left broken-hearted. Photos and videos of them being disappointed and crying are currently going viral on social media. However, fans have taken it upon themselves to hail and praise the cricketers for their performances throughout the World Cup.

For the unversed, having tied the knot in 2017 in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Kohli and Sharma welcomed their first child, a daughter Vamika in January 2021. The toddler is kept away from the limelight as the celebrity couple released a statement requesting the paparazzi to not click her photos. Apart from the World Cup 2023, they have been making the headlines for their rumoured second pregnancy. While they haven’t officially announced anything, Anushka has been seen wearing baggy outfits throughout the tournament.

On the work front, last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma has Chakda Xpress in her pipeline. She will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming sports film. Set to stream on Netflix, the movie is directed by Prosit Roy.
