Elon Musk Welcomes His 12th Child! Third With Neuralink Executive Shivon Zilis: Reports
Elon Musk, the tech billionaire, has recently welcomed his 12th baby with Shivon Zilis, an executive from his company Neuralink. Although the news about the child has just been confirmed, Musk emphasized that it was not a secret and that it was known to all their friends and family. He expressed that not issuing a press release about the birth did not mean it was a secret, but rather that doing so would have been "bizarre."

The name and sex of the new baby are yet to be revealed. Zilis, who had twins with Musk in November 2021, had previously informed her colleagues that she was not romantically involved with Musk and conceived the children through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Musk shares three children with Canadian singer Grimes and five kids with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson. It is worth noting that Musk's first child with Wilson tragically passed away at just 10 weeks in 2002.

Elon Musk has been an advocate for a booming birth rate and has often expressed concerns about declining birth rates, stating that it poses the biggest danger to civilization. He has donated $10 million to a fertility and population research project and has lauded Japan's efforts to increase their birth rate. Musk has also voiced concerns over China's declining population, highlighting that at its current birth rate, the country would lose about 40 per cent of its people every generation.

Moreover, Musk has challenged the narrative that more people are choosing not to have kids due to environmental concerns, calling it "total nonsense." He has also expressed concerns about the decline in fertility rates in the US, stating that the birth rate has been below minimum sustainable levels for 50 years.

Musk's advocacy for a booming birth rate and his involvement in fertility and population research projects highlight his deep interest in addressing the issue of declining birth rates globally. As he continues to speak out on this matter, his views and initiatives are likely to influence discussions on population growth and its implications for society.
