Elon Musk seemingly had a tumultuous relationship with actress Amber Heard. It pained him more than his troubled relationship with his father, according to his biographer Walter Isaacson, reported Business Insider.
“Nothing hurt him more than that relationship,” Isaacson remarked as he suggested that Musk is drawn to drama, which was an element of his relationship with Heard. Issacson has spent two years with Musk for his biography.
“Part of the theme of this life is this person is attracted to drama and storm. When things are calm, he surges, he buys Twitter or whatever. So this is true of the relationship with Amber. Nothing hurt him more than that relationship,” the billionaire’s biographer further added.

For the unversed, Musk and Heard’s relationship began at the 2016 Met Gala, and their on-off relationship finally ended in 2018. Isaacson’s biography, released last week, explores Musk’s “psychological turmoil” in his romantic relationships, including volatile arguments with Heard.
Isaacson’s book also delves deep into Musk’s relationships with his ex-wife Justine Wilson and musician Grimes, mother of his three children. Justine Wilson described Musk as combative, while Grimes suggested Musk “associates love with being mean or abusive,” partly due to his strained relationship with his father, Errol Musk.
