About yesterday, in a sad turn of events, legendary and veteran actor Dr. Shriram Lagoo took his last breath on December 17, 2019. An ENT Surgeon by profession and a well-acclaimed theatre and Bollywood actor, Dr. Shriram Lagoo won hearts with his stellar performances. As the country weeps in the demise of the beloved actor Dr. Shriram Lagoo, Prime Minister Narendra  Modi took to his official social media account to offer his condolences to the admirers of the late actor. Dr. Shriram passed away at the age of 92 in Pune, Maharashtra due to severe deterioration in his health and old age. On understanding the news about his demise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his Twitter to offer his condolences to his admirers. PM Modi tweeted, “Dr. Shreeram Lagoo personified versatility and brilliance. Through the years, he enthralled audiences with outstanding performances. His work will be remembered for years to come. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his admirers. Om Shanti.” Anguished by the demise of Dr. Shriram Lagoo, in his tweet, the honorable Prime Minister mentioned how the veteran actor’s work will be remembered for years to come. Born on November 16, 1927, Dr. Shriram Lagoo commenced his medical career in the 1930s. The legendary actor directed over 20 Marathi plays, acted in over 100 Hindi and Marathi films, and over 40 Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarathi theatre plays.
