A couple of weeks back comedian Agrima Joshua grabbed headlines for cracking a joke on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue that is to be built in Mumbai. The comedian was not only slammed left, right and centre, she even received rape threats. The main question was also arrested by Vadodara Police. She later took to social media and apologized for hiring sentiments. Well, the entire scenario has not only divided social media into two but also Bollywood. Now Agrima Joshua, who is a big Fawad Khan fan, recently reacted to the controversy.
Sharing a Fawad Khan Meme about power and money, the quote on the picture read, “You can speak truth to power, but the mob likes the lies and the mob is louder.” Reacting to the same, a user wrote, “Speaking truth to power' is the most misused thing by the woke liberal comedians,” while another said, “Why there was no action taken against @Agrimonious on her words against Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. @MumbaiPolice @AnilDeshmukhNCP @AUThackeray ? Leaving her without punishment will leave bad message to others. I expect @RajThackeray saheb will do something.”
