For the uninitiated, YouTuber Ajey Nagar popularly known as Carry Minati shared a YouTubers Vs TikTokers video roasting a TikToker named Amir Siddiqui. The particular roast video not only received a lot of likes and views but also went on to receive a lot of hate. As the video was later pulled down for violating YT’s bullying and harassment policy, many enraged created a storm on social media asking for justice for Carry Minati. Now, after all the drama, TikToker Amir Siddiqui responds to Carry Minati’s YouTubers Vs TikTokers roast video.
In a video shared on YouTube by Team Nawab, titled ‘Amir Siddiqui reply to Carry’, the video’s motive is to spread peace and remove hate. As the video starts, Amir Siddiqui features in the video talking about Carry Minati’s roast video. During the video, talking about Carry Minati’s YouTubers Vs TikTokers roast video, Amir said, “Maine bhi yeh video dekha, maine bahut sportingly dekha,” and went on to question fans out there, “kisiko pata hai Carry Minati ne roast kyun kiya?” “kyun maine woh IGTV video banaya tha?”
In the video, Amir explains that his motive behind making this video is to not add fuel to the current controversy, but finally, put an end to it and goes on to apologize for all the mistakes he has ever done in his IGTV videos. Later, Amir shares how due to some YouTubers’ roasting, female TikTok began receiving hate messages and rape treats, and that forced him to create his IGTV video and tag influencers like Carry Minati. Amir shared that he tagged Carry in the video, to gain support from him for a social cause that female TikToker’s should not be roasted over looks etc. Later, explaining how it’s not roasting but cyber bullying, Amir Siddiqui asked fans to support with his #AmirAgainstCyberBullying to take out cyber bullies.
