Model and actress Natasa Stankovic and cricketer Hardik Pandya have confirmed their separation. The couple announced their split on Thursday, July 18, through a joint statement on their social media accounts. Rumors of their separation had been circulating for a while, especially after Natasa dropped her surname 'Pandya' from her Instagram profile. Interestingly, despite their separation, Natasa and Hardik still follow each other on Instagram. There has been no public disclosure about any demands Natasa might have made from Hardik or any settlements between them. In a 2018 interview, Hardik mentioned that half of his property is in his mother's name, suggesting he might not need to give a significant portion of his assets to Natasa. He had said, "I said I don't trust myself; I won't take it in my name. I don't want to give 50 per cent to anyone in the future. 50 per cent will bother me a lot. It's better to take it in your name; 50 per cent will be safe." ALSO READ: Hardik Pandya Confirms Separation With Natasa Stankovic; This Was A Tough Decision For Us To Make

However, under Indian laws, Natasa, as Hardik's wife, can demand alimony from him. In their joint statement, the couple confirmed their mutual decision to part ways. They shared, “After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest of both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.”

They continued, “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives, and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time.” Hardik proposed to Natasa on January 1, 2020, on a yacht, and the couple reportedly got married in May of the same year. They welcomed their son Agastya on July 30, 2020. On February 14, 2023, they renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony in Udaipur.

This announcement marks the end of a significant chapter in their lives, characterized by love, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to their son Agastya. The couple's request for privacy during this difficult time highlights their intention to handle their separation with the same dignity and respect that characterized their relationship. Despite the end of their marriage, their focus remains on co-parenting and ensuring the well-being and happiness of their son.
