Caitlyn Jenner has opened up about former step-daughter Kim Kardashian’s sex tape and she seemingly knows about how it got released to the public. Caitlyn and Kim are the only Kardashian-Jenner family members who have spoken up in the Sky docu-series House of Kardashian.

The Kardashians, and Kris Jenner in particular, have been accused of orchestrating the leak of a 2007 private video that featured Kim getting intimate with her then-boyfriend Ray J to slingshot the Kardashian family into fame. Despite its release in 2007, there have been a slew of unanswered questions about the sex tape and its leak. Many have questioned how Kim Kardashian's extremely NSFW video made its way to the internet. 

Caitlyn is the only member of the sprawling KarJenner clan who participated in Sky's three-part docuseries House of Kardashian. 

While Caitlyn has already gotten candid about her relationship status with her ex-wife Kris Jenner, she has now finally discussed the infamous sex tape that many credit with launching the Kardashians into the enormous spotlight they still enjoy. It is also suggested that the Kardashian clan itself orchestrated the leak of the video.

"Whatever's going on, I don't know what it is and I'm gonna go to the golf course," Caitlyn said, per E! News. Furthermore, she also emphasized, "To be honest with you, I just stayed out of it." 

It was more than just going to the golf course, though, as she was very active in her ignorance.

"I never, ever once had that conversation," she said about rumours that Kris and Kim coordinated the tape's leak, "or did I want to have that conversation." She continued, "Kris never talked to me about it. I never talked to Kimberly about it," she said. "I don't know what happened, why it happened."

Caitlyn’s comments come after Ray J himself told The Daily Mail that Kris actually watched two different versions of the tape before deciding which one to leak.

Reports suggested that the leak was definitely a part of the launch of KUWTK, with it being a topic of discussion in the series premiere. The incident happened just months prior to the long-running reality series premiered, but after the series had been commissioned.
