Bollyland Brings New Shooting Destinations For Indian Filmmakers!
Bollyland introduces fresh and new locations for filmmakers under its "Unexplored Locations" segment so that they can keep a check for their future projects
The Petronas Twin Towers of Malaysia are probably the most explored locations by Indian filmmakers after the Eiffel Tower and London Bridge. Filmmakers started shifting their focus towards Southeast Asia in the early '90s after featuring the beauty of Europe in their movies. Shooting in Southeast Asia comparatively became more pocket-friendly for producers; as a result, many filmmakers were encouraged to shoot there. From blue oceans to terrains and from ancient architecture to modern structures, Southeast Asia has a variety to offer to our filmmakers. Within Southeast Asia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore are the hot shooting destinations, with Indonesia (Bali) joining the list lately. However, countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines are new shooting destinations for Indian filmmakers provided they offer better Logistic for Indian filmmakers
Started in 2019, a Bollywood-based travel show, BOLLYLANDS.COM, has recently released its Cambodia and Vietnam season on MX Player. The show talks about the shooting locations and interesting fun facts about Indian films. It also introduces fresh and new locations for filmmakers under its "Unexplored Locations" segment so that they can keep a check for their future projects. Show director Shashank Mane said in an interview that the show aims to cover as many countries as possible around the globe and keep on introducing new locations for filmmakers who are generally in search of new settings.
Bollylands.com becomes the first-ever Indian travel show to cover Cambodia in its 7th season. From the capital city of Phnom Penh to the islands of Sihanoukville and the ancient temples of Angkor Wat, the show has covered every nook and corner of these cities. Angkor Wat, renowned as the world's largest temple, is yet unexplored by Indian filmmakers, barring a few South Indian films. One of the temples of Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, is named after Angelina Jolie’s movie "Tomb Raider" as it was featured in the film. This has boosted the tourism of the region, and people across the globe visit the Angkor Wat temple in search of the "Tomb Raider Temple."
Continuing the Southeast Asia journey, the Bollylands.com team reached Vietnam in its 8th season to unwind its beauty. The Vietnam season is hosted by the new host, Ruchira Jadhav, and is now the latest Bollylands.com season on MX Player. Recently, the number of Indian tourists has increased in Vietnam, and soon, a film crew is also expected to do film shooting there. Starting the Vietnam journey from the capital city Hanoi, Ruchira has explored the churches, lakes, and markets around the city. Further in the season, she visits Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Long Bay, which is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. People have known Vietnam for its bravery and wars, but after this season, they will know the country for its scenic beauty and its culture.
