Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut recently joined the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. She will be running as a candidate from her hometown Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Having been a part of the Hindi entertainment industry for around two decades, she has been making the headlines because of her speeches. On Tuesday, she declared her assets worth over Rs 91 crore, including movable assets of Rs 28.7 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 62.9 crore. Quitting a Live Hindustan report, Hindustan Times states that she also has a debt of Rs 17.38 crore. 

According to a report by the media publication, the 37-year-old actress also owns luxurious cars worth Rs 3.91 crore. She owns a BMW and two Mercedes Benz. Apart from that, she has invested Rs 21 lakh in shares and given personal loans to 11 individuals. The Manikarnika actress has properties all over the country including Bandra (Mumbai), Zirakpur (Chandigarh), and Manali (Kullu). Ranaut also owns gold valued at approximately Rs 5 crore, 60 kg silver worth Rs 50 lakh, and 14-carat diamond jewellery worth Rs 3 crore. Apart from that, she also has 50 Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) policies under her name. Hindustan Times reports that in the affidavit filed with the Election Commission, Kangana has completed her Class 12 education at a private school in Chandigarh. The Tanu Weds Manu actress also has two cases filed against her in two police stations in Mumbai, however, she has not been charged in any cases. On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Tejas. The movie failed to impress the audience as well as the critics and it tanked at the box-office. She will be next seen in Emergency. Not only is the movie her first solo directorial, but she will also be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from that, she also has a few other projects in her pipeline.
