Indian billionaire and business tycoon Pankaj Oswal often makes the headlines for his and his family’s luxurious lifestyle. He has been living in Switzerland for the past decade with his wife Radhika Oswal and their daughters Vasundhara and Ridi. He recently built one of the world’s most expensive and luxurious homes there and as an ode to their beloved daughters, the couple even named their home ‘Villa Vari’. However, it is the price of their home that has taken the internet by storm.
According to a report by BollywoodShaadis, the chairman of Oswal Group Global’s new house is listed among the most expensive villas in the world. It is worth $200 million, approximately Rs 1,649 crores. Yes, you read that right! The Oswal's live in one of the most luxurious houses as it is located in the Canton of Vaud in the Swiss village of Gingins. They moved into their house in 2022, after a three year waiting period.
It is being reported that the Oswal’s mansion was designed by renowned interior designer Jeffrey Wilkes. For the unversed, he has also designed Oberoi Rajvilas, Oberoi Udaivilas, and Leela Hotels. Not only does their renovated villa pays homage to their Indian cultural roots, but is also Vastu compliant. The house is doused in the shades of white and has chandeliers that accentuate the beauty of the place.
The villa is said to have been previously owned by Greek businesswoman Christina Onassis, the heiress to the Onassis fortune. The 4,000 square metre home offers a breathtaking view of the snow-capped Blanc mountain range. The villa also had huge staircases and a lavish dining table, for the Oswal's to entertain their guests.
