The tranquility of his routine was shattered as he made his way home from his garments shop in the bustling New Market area, accosted by two masked assailants armed with knives around 9 pm. Despite the veil of anonymity shrouding the attackers, law enforcement officials have initiated an investigation, filing a case under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder) at the Arera Hills police station.
