Avinash Tiwari opens up about back to back OTT releases on Amazon Prime Video and Disney +Hotstar with Bambai Meri Jaan and Kaala and how he is currently riding high on success
In the past month, Avinash Tiwary has had two back-to-back web series premiere on the top streaming services Prime Video and Disney +Hotstar, respectively. Tiwary excelled in "Bambai Meri Jaan" as the notorious gangster Dara Kadri and gracefully handled the complex part. Ritwik Mukherjee, an IB officer from Kolkata, was portrayed by Tiwary in Bejoy Nambiar's "Kaala," which was released on Disney + Hotstar last month. The actor's versatility was demonstrated by his appearances in two completely different roles in the same month. He portrayed the gang leader Chandan Mahato in the Netflix original series "Khakhee: The Bihar Chapter." The series was made by renowned director Neeraj Pandey and received a positive response from the audience. Avinash Tiwary made his Bollywood debut in the film "Laila Majnu" which has highlighted his range as an actor. Tiwary made his big-screen debut, but it was his impressive performances in direct-to-OTT films that made his work more well-known. It's possible to view his quick work as Satya in the supernatural OTT movie "Bulbul" as a turning point that led to more opportunities for him. Avinash said this about this current career phase, “The light is shining for now. It is just beautiful because when the light is falling on us we all shine through. That's my understanding. This is the moment that probably I would say is a turnaround for me and my career."
On the work front after giving back to back OTT success, Avinash Tiwary will be seen next in the theatrical film ‘Mudgaon Express’ which will be directed by Kunal Kemmu
