Amir Siddiqui’s 3.8 Million Strong TikTok Account Suspended: Says He's Clueless About Reason Behind Suspension, Will Take 'Legal Route To Reclaim’

Amir Siddiqui’s brother Faizal Siddiqui created a stir on social media after a clip featuring him went viral in no time. Faizal was accused of promoting acid attack crime against women and was bashed by his fans and netizens left, right and centre. Even the National Commission Of Women decided to take action against him. Soon his TikTok account was suspended which was then followed by his brother Amir Siddiqui's account suspension.
SpotboyE.com reported about the suspension of his TikTok account which enjoyed a fanbase of 3.8 million followers. As per a report in TOI, the reason behind Amir’s TikTok suspension was because of the violation of multiple community guidelines. However, Siddiqui claimed that he has no clue about the reason for the suspension of his account and says that his team is looking into it. Talking to BT, he was quoted saying, “I got to know in the morning that my account has been suspended. I am in touch with my management team and the platform to understand the reason. We will be taking the legal route to reclaim the account. I haven’t been too active on TikTok since about a month.”
Talking about the viral video, he called it a prank video and was made almost a year ago. He even mentioned that the girl featuring in it was informed about the prank, eventually but only a part of the video is being circulated. He told the portal further, “I don’t intend to hurt anyone intentionally and follow the community guidelines. I had just started making videos on TikTok back then and have become careful of what I post today, given my following. I don’t want to have a bad influence on anyone. Every now and then, an old video surfaces and people ask to impose a ban on the account. I don’t know if we are being targeted. I have nothing to say.”
A casting director, Noor Siddiqui filed had filed a complaint against Amir for allegedly posting derogatory, defamatory and malicious comments on Instagram. Talking about the complaint filed by Ali Kaashif Khan, he says, “My management has told me about the notice and we will fight in court.
