Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta Ambani were all smiles as they attended Radhika Merchant’s Mameru ceremony, ahead of her wedding with Anant Ambani. All set to tie the knot on July 12th, after a long engagement, the entire family was beaming with joy ahead of the wedding ceremonies. Having started the grand celebration with a mass wedding and the Mameru ceremony, photos and videos of the occasion are currently going viral on social media. One of the videos that has caught everyone’s attention is of Akash and Shloka.

In a video shared by Pallav Paliwal, Shloka can be seen standing alongside her husband as well as her father-in-law Mukesh Ambani, who is holding her daughter Veda in his arms. As family members gather in Antilia to celebrate the special occasion, Shloka starts dancing to the music. Akash adoringly looks at his wife. Standing next to Isha Ambani’s husband Anand Piramal and their daughter Aadiya, he cutely asks Shloka to smile as she rushes forward to dance. The video has left the netizens gushing about their beautiful bond. 

For those who don’t know, Akash and Shloka have known each other since they were in school. The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in 2019 in a grand wedding ceremony. They went on to welcome their first son Prithvi in 2020 and their daughter Veda in 2023. 


The 29-year-old is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Radhika and Anant hosted their first pre-wedding celebration in March 2024, where he introduced their wildlife centre Vantara to the guests. This was followed by a cruise outing in May with the theme ‘La Vita E Un Viaggio’. 


Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding invitation mentioned that they would be tying the knot on July 12, 2024, in the presence of their family and friends. The three-day-long wedding ceremony will begin with their Shubh Vivaah, and then on July 13, Shubh Aashirwad will be hosted. The ceremonies will conclude with their wedding reception Mangal Utsav on July 14th. The ceremonies will be taking place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.
