In an interview with Times Now, Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has raised questions over Bollywood's usage of drugs after reports of Rhea Chakraborty dealing in narcotics emerged
It was yesterday that the Narco Control Bureau got involved in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Reportedly, ED found some proof that allegedly reveals Rhea Chakraborty's dealings in narcotics. Later, Times Now also published a few deleted WhatsApp messages of Rhea Chakraborty and friends talking about drugs like hash, MD, and more. With this, the Akali Dal Leader, Majinder Singh Sirsa, has now come out and raised questions over 'Bollywood-drug cartel'.
To Times Now, the Akali Dal leader has stated that Bollywood has been blaming innocent people, especially, Punjabis by making the movie called 'Udta Punjab'. However, it is not 'Udta Punjab' it is 'Udta Bollywood', he says. He further added that Bollywood portrays Punjabis as druggists, however, it is the other way round. He then mentions a Karan Johar's party that was reportedly attended by Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika, Ranbir and others against which he had raised his voice.
Earlier, Majinder Singh Sirsa, had penned an open letter after a video from Karan Johar's party had gone viral on the internet. In the video, stars like Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and others were seen enjoying themselves and controversy had followed suggesting that the stars supposedly consumed drugs at the party.
